Weihenstephan 1516 Kellerbier offers a malt-led expression of Bavarian lager. A good choice if you enjoy an unfiltered style with a little extra texture and character.
Awards and recognition: Bronze for the bottled beer at the 2024 Australian International Beer Awards.
Soft malt, fresh hop character and a rounded palate, with a refreshing finish.
Weihenstephan's brewing history reaches back to 1040 on the hill above Freising in Bavaria. That heritage underpins a range spanning classic wheat beers, lagers and stronger specialities.
